A couple of months ago I came across the amazing Russia-based artist Ishome. Not only is she amazingly beautiful – no, this girl is also amazingly talented!
I would describe her music as some sort of electro-minimal-dance-ambient-pop… her album ‘Confession‘ left some real impression on me; it actually got the chills run down my spine when I listened to it for the first time.
‘Confession‘ makes me think of cold, cold yet warm and open-hearted Russia. For a little while I find myself in another world, her music takes me to faraway places where I meet strangers; where I wander through snow-y forests and along massive wooden kremlins.
Apart from the impact her music has on me though, one must admit that she’s got some serious talent. It’s a pity that she’s apparently not as famous yet but I do hope that people will take notice of her.
